Perfect stay for couples

The room was very clean and comfortable, it felt like home. Plus, they had a delicious breakfast that we enjoyed in the cafe when it was quiet, which made for a nice start to the day.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but acceptable for the quality.

I had a lovely stay with the best breakfast I've ever tasted and cozy evenings in the peaceful room that helped me unwind. The garden was perfect for sipping tea and enjoying the sun. There were charming spots to just relax. The only downside was the lack of privacy due to the seating outside my window, but it wasn’t a big deal since I was mostly out and about anyway. ☕

The location in the heart of town made it easy to explore, and the breakfast was truly exceptional, rivaling any guesthouse. Clean and beautifully decorated accommodations added to the charm. While the building's historic character was a delight, minor issues, such as the lack of prompt service at busy times, were noted. The lovely cakes, especially the lemon drizzle and bakewell slice, complemented a good cup of tea perfectly.

We loved the open beams and spacious seating! The roaring fire made our lunch lovely. Highly recommend the BLT toastie.

We loved our time here! The place has so much character and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Our twin room was way better than the pics online. Breakfast was top class, and they even let family use our room to get ready for a wedding. Just wish the tea was a bit stronger!

We loved the vibe of the open kitchen. it was fascinating to see the cooks in action. The staff were incredibly helpful when we arrived a day early for a wedding. Our large family of five, including three teens, felt very welcomed.

In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast setup could be improved for families, perhaps by providing an indoor option for cooler days.
